EILEN JEWELL PRESENTS BUTCHER HOLLER: A TRIBUTE TO LORETTA LYNN (SIGNATURE SOUNDS) Jewell and her Trio pay homage to the Coal Miners Daughter and Butcher Holler where she grew up. Choosing songs written by Loretta, in the 60's & 70's (some of the topics were supposedly off limits to women) they still seem pertinent today. Portrayed in a harder Honky Tonk style than her previous efforts, the album is a surprise change of style, but one that she carries off admirably.
